Not to sure about which diet to choose to loose the extra pounds with? As you must know by now, a double chin can sometimes be fat deposits stored in the chin. So basically, you have fat in the chin. Just with other parts of the body are fat, we aim to diet and reduce the fat stores in the body. So a diet will help.
So why not try a simple detox diet. If you can stick with it for a few days to a week, you may also notice an increase in energy levels and general well being. This type of detox diet is known as ‘monotrophic’. With this style of diet, you only eat one piece of fruit at each meal.
A typical day on this diet would consist of something like:
Breakfast – Melon only. Feel free to eat as much melon as you wish. Any type of melon such as Honeydew, Cantaloupe, Gala or Watermelon will be OK
Lunchtime – Pick another fruit. Orange is quite nice as a lunchtime meal. Maybe pineapples or plums. Don’t mix the fruit. Again, eat until you are satisfied and don’t go hungry.
Mid afternoon (around 4pm): Take a break and get yourself a large tall glass of fresh pressed carrot juice. The fresher the better.
Evening meal – Stick with apples, pears bananas or grapes. These are easier to digest at this time of the day. Try to eat only one fruit at a time and don’t go hungry. Eat until you are satisfied.
As you have seen it repeated and I will state it once again. Don’t starve yourself! Make sure the hunger has gone after very meal. If it has not, you’ll only be tempted to snack in between meals and pile on the calories.
By now, you may think that this much fruit on a daily basis can not be that good for you but for a short term diet plan, the opposite is true. It is only something you should try for a maximum of one week and no more as you should not go too long while cutting out the other major food groups.
